The Veterans Contention Advocate is anchored in a deep-seated philosophy of compassion, justice, and unwavering commitment to our nation's heroes. Every veteran and their family carry stories of sacrifice and resilience; we recognize and honor their journey. As they navigate the often daunting maze of VA disability claims, we stand firmly by their side. By simplifying complexities, demystifying processes, and relentlessly advocating for their rights, we ensure that every veteran is empowered, heard, and granted the justice and benefits they've so rightfully earned. Beyond mere assistance, we envision a world where the dedication and service of our veterans are met with equal enthusiasm and commitment from us, ensuring no hero is left behind.
At the Veterans Contention Advocate, we are deeply committed to serving veterans. Our team consists of dedicated professionals with diverse experiences and expertise, all united by a common philosophy of helping others in need, particularly those who have served our country.
Our founder, a proud veteran, served honorably in the Department of the US Army as a Sergeant. His military career includes several combat tours, notably Operation Iraqi Freedom (2005-2006) in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom (2010-2011) in Afghanistan. After his military service, he pursued higher education, obtaining an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Magna Cum Laude honors, and a Master of Arts in Legal Studies (MLS). He has extensive experience representing veterans in decision review appeals and before VA Veterans Law Judges, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld. His combination of military experience, academic achievements, and legal advocacy ensures that Veterans Contention Advocate provides unparalleled support to every veteran we serve.
Joining him as an executive partner is our physician assistant. He brings a robust medical background and valuable combat experience from his service as a healthcare specialist (combat medic) in the US Army. His deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait have given him profound insights into the specific health challenges faced by veterans. He holds a Master of Clinical Health Services and a Physician Assistant Certificate, among other medical certifications. He has a strong focus on suicide prevention—a critical aspect of veteran healthcare. His comprehensive approach to patient care combines clinical excellence with a deep commitment to preventing veteran suicide, ensuring each veteran receives the best possible support both medically and emotionally.
